Knight-Bat Ruins Everthing

I always think it’s funny when Butterfly doesn’t appear in the strip. I mean, it’s his comic! When this happens I wonder if people think I just wish I was writing Batman and Robin or something. But if I was, oh man, it would be so different. Mostly, there’d be more fighting and less jokes. More bruises and less talking about the internet.

Anyway, working on THREE websites for this week. I just finished the really hard one that HAD to get done, so now I can play with the fun ones. :)

Health update: Doing super fine. Eating heart-healthy foods and not eating really bad ones.

Also, I drew this goofy comic for all around cool dude Dean Haspiel, based on this dream I had.

I wish I knew how to make my drawings look clean and cartoony like that.

what programs are you using for this? or do you hand draw them and go over in photoshop?

these current strips are all drawn in photoshop with my wacom tablet, using the pencil tool. this is a recent change for me, but one i’m very happy with.

all but two or three images on deantrippe.com were drawn by hand and inked with a brush.
