Guest Art Month! Steve Rolston
Butterfly Guest Art Month continues! This week’s strip was created by Eisner Award winning superstar Steve Rolston, of Sidekicks, Queen & Country, and most recently The Escapists fame. Thanks so much, Steve!
As for me, I’ve been busy with catching up on commissions, working on a few pitches, and finally watching Battlestar Galactica! My friend and assistant Jason Horn has been helping with all of these. I’ve also been getting more and more into Doctor Who, which is pretty dang awesome. Hooray for Wikipedia articles on important subjects like Daleks and Cybermen!
Also picked up a couple of comics this week for the first time in a while. Civil War’s new issue didn’t do much for me, but All-Star Superman continues to be one of the best mainstream superhero books in years!
OH! Also, I missed this because I went home to Georgia for the holidays, but Digital Strips did a really nice podcast review of the Butterfly series. Thanks so much, guys!
That’s all for this week, but by the way…watch this space on the right –>

Butterfly gets an allowance? Who from I wonder? :)
I know I’d buy a line of Butterfly toys if they were available! (Would he come with a Space Exploring Ballerina accessory?)
Plus, am glad you’ve been converted to the cause of Doctor Who! Worth the investment of time I assure you (And a kick ass toy line here in the UK!!)

Ha! I just noticed I forgot to draw Butterfly’s antennae in the first panel. Oops!

Nice one Steve.
Hey Dean, I think you can affordably get into some merchandising here. Start saving those Popsicle sticks and bottlecaps. ;-)
