Last year I did an hourly comic using the 12-years-later premise of my webcomic. It didn't really make sense, so this time I'm following the rules and making each comic about what happened during my day.
Since I was at work, I decided to draw on my little HTC phone. To do this, I assembled a makeshift stylus from a piece of conductive foam and a hollowed-out sharpy. It pretty much feels like drawing with a potato, but it's still slightly better than a finger. 2 dollars for autodesk sketchbook app and I was away! I'm on 8 hours now.
Too excited to sleep last night + Riding to work just in time
Coffee in the coffeeteria + Listening to an Australian academic
Brandishing my homemade style-less + Booking a popular particle sizing instrument
In the factory operating heavy machinery + Tying my shoelaces (much harder)
Meeting with a microbiologist + Card-swiping my way out of the building
Uploading first comics + Playing with matches
Playing some Starcraft + Drawing from the comfort of my couch
Updating my Comicfury + Getting clean
Hooray! 16 hours, 16 comics and it's 12 o'clock. It looks like I'm the first in the whole wide world to finish. Good old New Zealand. I'm coming to terms with this horrible artistic medium, but I'll probably never draw with it again. Thanks for your attention, dear readers. |
