Call. I didn't even know about it. I don't really get into the smaller, 'just buy something' kind of shows, since I generally don't buy much at conventions, though.
But I'd have gone just to hang out.
Today I'm working on some low-paying illos to finance the Butterfly t-shirts. _________________ Dean Trippe | Project Rooftop |

We will definitely call you next time, dude. It's always a lot of fun, and also boring and depressing at the same time. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about here. It was funny to watch everyone ignore Bob Burden, though. I like the small cons that are essentially dealer-only type places, because you can find some good deals on crappy old comics like the Jimmy Olsens and Lois Lanes I was buying for like $1.00 and $2.00 each. It's cool, too, because nobody looks at the things I'm looking at at these shows. There's a herd of people around the Top Cow / Kevin Smith / Ultimates bullshit, and then there's me crouched down looking through a short box of back issues of Mad Magazine from the 60s & 70s that are on the floor under the table right next to a short box full of back issues of Barely Legal. Yes. I am serious. This really happened. A fat guy bumped into the back of my head with his ass. _________________ Seriously. |

Didn't do a whole lot today.
I'm starting to gear up for my audition for theatre school in Victoria. My moter and I are driving out there, and are going to stop in at hot springs, and chicken shacks in the mountains, and all that fun stuff. And I'm looking forward to seeing Victoria, as I hear it's beautiful. _________________ Hey, I draw robots and crap if you're interested
