Shipping off full script for Charlatan Issue 1 today to illustrator. This frees me up to begin whining about writing the script for Issue 2.
Began watching 4th of the Zatoichi, the Blind Swordman movies. That 'Ichi's one bad dude.
Kinda fascinated by the DNS attack that evidently took down Google from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM EST yesterday. Rerouted traffic to a Googly-looking site named Sogo. Even more fascinating than the successful attack is the lack of media coverage concerning the event--Google is the biggest play on Wall Street these days and MANY high rollers would have a bad Monday if this became a big public story. Engadget (www.engadget.com) has the most info I've seen thus far. But nothing on AP, CNN, NYT . . . or even NKOTB . . . . |

Yeah that Google thing is weird.
Just got back from church, my old church, where much Mother's Day enjoyment was had. MoDa '05 partying continues at the old homestead for lunch. I'm exhausted from getting back late from a movie last night and reading free comics before bed.
We saw Kingdom of Heaven, which we enjoyed, but was kinda jerky. I heard an hour was cut out of it, and it's kinda noticeable. Hopefully there will be an extended version on dvd. Good flick, and let's face it, when Jeremy Irons shows up, it's good mojo.
Now for food, and then for drawing. _________________ Dean Trippe | Project Rooftop |

Had a band practice last night. For a band who only has had two rehearsals and filled with people who don't usually play instruments, we sound alright. Hopefully we'll have had three rehearsals before BATTLE OF THE BANDS on Thursday.
What are we called? The Ragtime Girls (with a side of sausage). It's, apparently, a feminist band. _________________ Hey, I draw robots and crap if you're interested

I hope to get a significant amount of work done on a final project for my figure drawing class today. I need to get some studying done too, damn art history.
Damn college. _________________ Phil In The Blanks
