I'm about to go to bed. Tonight I watched 'Sword of Doom,' a dope film from '66 about an evil samurai. Javi recommended it, and rightfully so. It's really cool. Well shot, well acted.

It's got me wanting to modify some recent character designs with a little bit of samurai flair...

My parents are out of town so I've been over at their house a bit, taking care of the family dog, Molly, and swiping snacks and drinks. Smile

Samurai rule!

Haven't heard of Sword of Doom so I'll have to check it out.

Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress, Seven Samurai, Sanjuro and Yojimbo are all fantastic.

The Zatoichi series of films as well as Samurai Champloo (now playing on Cartoon Network) are recent addictions.

I saw the first two eps of Champloo, but haven't seen any more pop up on the tracker sites. Hopefully some more will appear, but I guess I can wait for the DVDs.

Speaking of DVDs, I just added Sopranos season five and The Dead Zone season three to my Blockbuster.com queue. They just came out yesterday, which probably means no one will have rented them before I get them! Whoo! No germs/scratches!

With the Champloo eps., most likely some have been taken down due to the fact that the DVD's are out. (at least for the first 2 or 3 episodes.)

I've seen up to at least episode 17, and need to see the rest.
