Break out your old drawings and show us!
Here's some stuff from my senior year of highschool/first semester of community college (holy crap, that's like seven years ago?!). As you can see, revamping superhero designs has long been a pasttime of mine:
You can also see how all over the place I was with my 'style' (haha) before SCAD. It wasn't until my Senior year there that I STARTED looking more like how I draw now...and even then.
Alright, your turn! _________________ Dean Trippe | Project Rooftop |

Dean
Thanks for sharing--can see the roots of your distinctive style even in these early pictures.
Alas, I don't have any old illustrations to post . . . I am but a lowly (sniffle, sob) . . . aspiring writer.
But I think everyone else should post their stuff. |

Oh god, alright...you asked for it. Here's the drawings that were on my old website back in 2002/2003, so I guess that means these are mostly from freshman and sophmore year of high school? I cringe just looking at them. I mean, there's a reason I took this site down.

I can't believe people didn't hold out to see the N'sync fanart.
I don't have much but I do have these old comics I drew in Junior High (which was a little more than ten years ago)
Keep in mind that Jeffrey Dauhmer was still "hot news" when I made this sketch:

The worst thing is that those crappy things won me a contest with the Florida Times Union and I got in the paper for a tiny while as part of the prize. The other prize was getting to meet Brian Gable, the editorial cartoonist. Basically everything he had to say crushed my little dreams of being a cartoonist. So I stopped doing it in the 10th grade. There's a weird story convoluted story involved here, but suffice to say I didn't pick up drawing again until about a year and a half ago. Dear Brian Gable: You're a total cockmonkey.
