Some cool stuff, especially the opening bit with Batman. I dug the idea of a Breakfast Club tribute, especially with a lot of the cast at the show watching. DANG I LOVE THAT ANTHONY MICHAEL HALL. But they used freaking YELLOWCARD to do the tribute. GOOD GRIEF THEY SUCK. Actually, I'm only at this part, but so far all the musical performances have sucked horribly.

heh, what do you expect, coming from the music channel that only shows shows even slightly related to music at the crack of dawn.

BAH, and the awards are pretty obviously VIACOM-rigged. I loved Napoleon Dynamite, but the MTV-produced flick gets all the awards? And Mean Girls? Seriously, not bad flicks, but it looks like some execs were in on the voting, if you know what I'm saying.

The best part of the MTV awards was the Star Wars spoof where Jimmy Fallon played Anikan. Hilarious.

The music was kind of lame, but I also dug the Breakfast Club tribute.

I must warn you...I'm really good at backflips.

Yeah, it's hard to knock an appearance by the original cast members. The Chappelle joke from Anthony Michael Hall was AWESOME.

Oh, dean. Wide-eyed, innocent, lily-pure, trusting lil' dean.

You're gonna blow this conspiracy wide open.

Just how far down the rabbit hole are you willin' t'go?

Um... take the red pill!

...always bet on black!

Look, I've seen enough of these kinda mystery movies that I'll just jump to the end and say 'IT'S YOU?! You're behind the Viacom conspiracy?!' and you say 'I told you to not to trust anyone!!'

Then we struggle for the gun and it goes off and we both fall over. And then slowly, I stand back up and walk away.
