Probably the Paradax-y full-face mask and lightning bolt ears, now I think about it. This is a good thing. Plus, I'm pretty sure McCarthy had the original Kid Flash designs in his head when he came up with Paradax in the first place. And yes, the turtle rocks, and is the sort of entirely silver age-y whimsical touch current DC wouldn't touch with a bargepole.
