Jemma’s entry (just think SCARY EYES!) works so well for me on a creep-you-the-F-out level… I can just imagine if we saw him in darkness with the cape wrapped up and his head cocked to the side, so it just looked like a group of scary eyes (like all the best kids cartoons had when people were lost in the forest) and then he slowly raises it back up straight so you get a moment of WTF?! and then BAM the cape opens and you’ve got that cackling, devouring jack-o-lantern jaw! Not sure about the white from that perspective, though it looks really good, design-wise.

Hector Barros rules!!! it’s the best design. It’s the most Dick’s costume, but it’s perfect for Batman too.

Love love love Marcos Miller’s design. The belt comes off as a little more ornate than functional to me, but otherwise it’s aces.

I don’t get the criticism about the design not having a cape. Batman’s cape is there to make him physically impressive and imposing, I think the collar and the sheer size of this muscley Dick accomplish that goal ably.
