  1. Awesome stuff! It’s amazing how good the leather jacket costume looks in real life. And the other costume needs to be the official look for Wonder Woman. It’s got straps that would realistically keep the top from coming down and has the battle skirt that I’m a huge fan of. Do it DC!

  2. The headband in both versions need tweaking, the smaller one in particular. Other than that these are a perfect adaptation for a live action WW. Way better than that aborted TV series look. And the model is beautiful, maybe a little too young though.

  3. The skirt-thing would be problematic for TV. And I hope she’s not wearing heels. Other than that, looks good.

  4. Warner Bros, take note: This is how you do a believable Wonder Woman. Keep her traditional costume more battle ready and proper for important battles while the leather jacket can be used for solo missions and will keep her grounded to the audience. Sort of like how Cap transitioned from his WWII suit from his movie into his Avengers garb.

  5. Definitely like the second one better than the first (although I do realize it’s the same top and belt). The heftier headpiece just shouts ‘Amazon’, while the dainty star on the first one looks out of place.

  6. Wow! I really like these… wish we could see her feet b@ut I like it! Especially the second image and details towards t,he skirt piece with the cromakey design bringing out her Greek origins. The tights and jacket look is cool to. Like after she’s been in civilization for a while she updated. Nice.

  7. I do believe BOTH better like this. Though, you’re right about the headband being unnecessary for the leather jacketed version. Personally, I love the idea of WW getting to wear both to fill various roles and for various missions. Why can’t Superheroes have different outfits at the same time? That skirt is ingenious, it gives her everything she needs, with nothing she doesn’t

  8. Oh and also I love they did away with the “w” motif. “Wonder Woman” in Greek doesn’t even start with a “W” that would be “Γυναίκα κατάπληξης”…

    so ” Γ, K ” would work … :-/

  9. I gotta agree with Taja Reyul on the first photo; not a big fan of the Jim Lee version. The classic outfit, on the other hand, looks gorgeous. I looked up other photos online of this outfit and I’m blown away by the detail. Certain areas need tweaking (the gap on the bottom of the tiara for starters), maybe make the star on the tiara red (gotta stick with tradition imo) and I’d like to see how the shoes looks. Overall, I could definitely see this for a proper live action Wonder Woman movie. Kudos to Hermes Terceiro, Adam Jay, and Sarah Scott.

  10. Mike, as someone who studied ancient greek and greek mythology for five years at high school, your comment made my day. I am now going to try and do a Wonder Woman redesign with a gamma and kappa logo :D

Also, these costume designs are BRILLIANT. I echo what everyone else has said, they should be used in comics and on tv IMMEDIATELY. NOW, I SAY! NOW!

  11. But they were used. We harped on them (well, my friend harped on the 600+ outfit. I didn’t mind it). The only really different thing here is the seams and details of the outfit. For live action, yeah these need to be integrated, but there’s no need in comics

    I’m glad you approve! ;)

  13. @ Mike Lane – She isn’t IN Greece. She’s in America where she is called Wonder Woman, so the greek alphabet isn’t of significance. The “S” on Superman’s chest, as per retcon, isn’t an alphabetic “S”. Its a family symbol from Krypton. If it (the symbol) were pronounced ‘gloobtrimstroop’ in Kryptonian, does that mean we have to call him Gloobtrimstroopuperman? I don’t think so.

    Nice costumery, by the way.

  14. @Extremium I think the point of Mike’s comment was precisely that: she’s only called ‘Wonder Woman’ in America. Hence, why should she have the WW symbol on her greek armour? Unless it just so happens to have two double-u shaped symbols from which the American press derive the name – as with Superman’s coincidental S symbol – it seems contrived. If, on the other hand, she were already called ‘Wonder Woman’ back on Themyscara for some reason, then the symbol would read gamma-kappa. Either way, it was just a little joke :)

  15. Beautiful girl and a well done costume… I think she would be better as Wonder Girl, she is a bit young to be Wonder Woman.

  16. She looks a bit too young. I thought it was Wonder WOMAN not little girl….

The tiaras are horrible. The small one looks like a toy and the big one may as well be a bicycle helmet. LOL Terrible. HATE the leather jacket costume…..just looks to X-Men to me…and too common. The “Xena” costume is far too bulky! Doesn’t look like it fits her at all. Makes her look dumpy.

  17. Sarah Scott is a living proof-of-concept for the leather jacket outift, and rocks the Amazon Warrior costume beautifully. Perfect combination of Hot and Heroic, no bullshit and no sexism necessary. Love it.

  18. I have to say Lynda Carter’s bad acting is in no way a reflection on how incredibly amazing she symbolized Wonder Woman to this day, she is the Iconic Heroine-i guess what i’m trying to say; “those are some BIG shoes to fill.” I wish i had reels to prove i can play the legendary Heroine… The only fortunate part i have my youtube account: Melanie-Starr Foxx – Yes i am self promoting but can’t you blame a gal for trying!? Sarah I wish you the best of luck^_^

  19. GREAT outfits for Wonder Woman. The model in question looks a bit young for the character, but that could potentially work anyhow.
