  1. Is that supposed to be a tunic with an undershirt or a single top with a black accent? If it’s the V-neck tunic, then I love it a lot. Tunics like that make for good superhero attire. Easy to throw on, great shape and excellent pallet. The shirt with a v-detail on the front loses points for me. Bib designs on shirts just turn me off personally. Otherwise this is a solid design and illustration

  2. It’s very pretty, but it has some issues. The dangerously revealing low v-neck has been covered up by a black section… which isn’t a bad idea… but if the v-neck was a problem, why not just remove it entirely? Why not move the ‘W’ insignia there or do something creative with the star pattern, or add a wrap or something? I wouldn’t say it’s so much inspired by the 1960s suit, as it is a mild tweaking of it. Not really sure it counts as a redesign. A very nicely drawn piece, all the same.

  3. Argh, this is so adorable, I would definitely wear a top that looked like that. I also like the dark V-shape to suggest the v-neck of the original outfit, without *actually* showing cleavage. The only tiny quibble I have is that I’d like to see a little bit of gold on her boots, to balance out all the stuff going on on her upper half.

  4. Agreed, I like 99% of this design. Pop the W up to between the stars (perhaps on the black bit if you keep it), mebbe give her a black belt to break up all the red, and it’s perfect.

I really hope this is an undershirt. Female heroes could stand to be wearing layers. This being a tunic and accruments thrown over street clothes has a lot of stylistic potential

  6. HEY, was checking this guys stuff out but for some crazy reason he doesn’t seem to have an email address on his tumblr and I’m too lazy to sign up to deviant art…does anyone have any way to contact him?
