Mike Dimayuga

Note: Just received some alarming news about a member of the extended P:R family. According to friends in the art community, artist Mike Dimayuga has passed away. Mike has been a frequent contributing artist to the P:R website going as far back as 2009, and most notably winning the Spider-Man: Webhead 2.0 contest. I had the opportunity to speak with him on several occasions online, but we never crossed paths at conventions to really get to know him more. Somehow I hope this news of his passing is some cruel trick and he’ll pop up in the comments, but people tell me it’s true. We’ll miss you, buddy. – Chris A.

  1. Damn the guy was still way too young, not even forty years old. The Wonder Woman piece is amazing, it really captures how Diana *should* appear-determined, fierce, muscular but lithe, the epitome of feminine strength.

  2. I had never known of this artist before today. It was by chance that I found his Iron Fist picture for my facebook fan page, as I gathered the information to credit the artist, I learned of his passing.

My condolences to his family and friends. I hope this page will stay active as a memorial of his great work.
My post of his art has been made into a tribute:
