Note: When Tony Aros won our Shadowman: In A New Light redesign contest, it wasn’t the first time his work has graced our site. Aros’ work has been featured on nine separate occasions, including earning an honorable mention in three of our redesign contests. Note: Our contest aren’t solely about the first place winners; it’s about everyone who takes part, and artist Vanni LoRiggio has quietly become one of our most frequent and consistently high-ranking artists in P:R history. LoRiggio scored 2nd place in both Fantastic Four: Fashion Forward and Invincible: Viltrumite Vogue, and scored Honorable Mentions for his entries into Spider-Man: Webhead 2.0, Black Canary: Canary On The Catwalk and Captain America: Fighting Styles. Note: Not everyone can win our P:R contests, and in the array of runners-up and honorable mentions you see a sea of quality talent. Artist Yasmin Liang has been a fixture in our contests with DC heroes, placing as a runner-up in Aquaman: Sea Change, Batman 2.0: Dynamic Do-Over and Wonder Woman: Wardrobe War, and earning honorable mentions for both Canary on the Catwalk and Superman: Man of Style. She’s gone to have several of her pieces earn a solo feature here on the site, and we’re always on the lookout for more work by her in our inbox and online! - Chris A.
Note: Readers of Project: Rooftop have seen Ming Doyle grow to become an artist dynamo. She won our Superman: Man of Style contest, ranked high with her cosplay of Batgirl, and has become an integral part of the site. Doyle recently began doing work at Marvel on Girl Comics #1 and the recent Fantastic Four #600, and we’re excited to see what she does next! – Chris A.

Note:Imagination is a key part of making a redesign work — and some of our regular contributors have that in spades. Artist Maris Wicks has participated in several of our contests and even a few standalone entries, and she always brings an inventive spirit that’s unafraid to take some chances.
