Hello everyone! It's my third year doing HCD, and this one landed on a weekend at Whistler! I drew it all on the hour yesterday, but due to business I couldn't scan it until now!!
Tried to kick it up a notch art-wise over last year, clearly I still have a ways to go. I think I'll try a new method next year...
PS I hate this little notebook now that I know it won't scan flat!! Augh!
Looking forward to reading all of yours! <3

i like those weightloss reality shows because at least they're getting something positive experience, instead of just drama and insanity.
No idea why I'm so into them though... I'm built like a hatrack and I get lightheaded from the exertion of circulating my own blood. |

Whoo finally.
I was wondering where yours was after making reference to Wasted Talent in my hourlies. Here I thought you weren't doing it this year.
I should have had more faith. |

I like the blue shading -- it's so simple, but works so well! _________________ My HCD 2014

Thanks! Yeah I'm glad the blue worked out so well, but I think I want to try something bolder and cleaner next year.
I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it of, as it was this year, every hour took about 1/2 hour to draw! |

Sounds like someone is very serious about fresh powder, lol. I love your comics and have been a fan of your comics for awhile now. I've subscribed to your wasted talent comic thru the RSS and click to through to the comic when there is a new one. _________________ My Webcomic Experiment!

Aw Australians? I thought you liked us, we like you!
But you should totally have slain that YipDog, those things are handcrafted from pure evil.
Great comic |

Yeah, I should probably clarify that. I have no problem with Aussies (you are all awesome!) But Whistler's staff are 90% Australian, it's kind of a local joke. So in my delirium, the adventure I came up with involved hordes of zombie Australians("skiiiing....") rich people's yip-dogs and a skinny bitch in tight pants and Ugg boots. All part of the Whistler scenery.
Curiously, there are no bees. |
