It looks like we’re not the only ones who spend our free time dreaming up new possibilities and variants on the costumes of our favorite characters. Earlier this week, Marvel announced a series of variant covers that will be on select April titles. The series, entitled “Iron Man By Design,” features re-imagined versions of Iron Man done by a variety of artists including Adi Granov (see above).
Eagle-eyed P:R readers will remember our own Iron Man re-design contest, Iron Man: Invincible Upgrade, back in 2008 which featured Daniel Krall’s inspired design as the grand prize winner.

I wish he was a little speedier with his technique so I could see more of his work monthly. But as Marvel’s resident kick-ass cover artist, I’ll take what I can get.
