Wemberly killed this. Although I think the hair and glasses lead me to a different character than static. Other than that awesome!

Hands down, Wimberly did the best illustration for the entire tribute. I think Yasmin did the best re-design of Static, IMO. Nice color combos, simple yet complex and it looks like Static and not a different character. Great stuff.

All of these have been incredible, but Michelle Perez’ is the one that knocks my socks clean off; incredible. Not only would I buy that book, watch that movie, but I want to hang out with that guy. And dress like him.

I was wondering upon what basis was the criterion here, while they are all terrific, I wanted to know how you decided who’s go up here. Especially on a tribute basis where someone could have spent time to tribute Mr. Mcduffie only for their tribute to not be seen. Is that exactly fair?

That is awesome. Good to know! I just saw the ones that flowed over into that final post very cool.
